Gallium Lighting Announces New GS10 LEDs

New Recessed Fixture Offers High Lumen Output for Outdoor Under-Canopy and Indoor High-Abuse Applications.

Fayetteville, GA – November 30, 2010 – Gallium Lighting announced today a new addition to its line of energy efficient and environmentally friendly LED downlights. The new GS10 fixture provides 2602 lumens of white light in a 10” square package. The fixture is perfect for use under entrance canopies, covered walkways, gas station canopies and bank drive-throughs. Other applications include use indoors in high-abuse areas, such as schools, sports facilities, transportation terminals and prisons. The fixture is rated for dry, damp or wet locations, so it is also ideal for use in indoor applications with potential water exposure such as ceilings over swimming pools, showers and food service areas.

The LEDs in the Gallium GS10 fixture are rated for 50,000 hours of service life. This is equivalent to up to five times the life expectancy of traditional light sources. The color temperature for this fixture is a nominal 5000K, with a Color Rendering Index of 70. The GS10 consumes 69 watts of electricity and provides an energy efficient 38 lumens per watt. The GS10 fixture is backed by the standard Gallium Lighting 5-year limited warranty.

Gallium Lighting is committed to providing high-performance LED lighting at affordable prices to reduce energy costs, conserve fossil fuels and prevent climate change. Gallium Lighting has been building high-quality, energy efficient, environmentally friendly LED lighting fixtures since 2006.

Gallium Lighting Announces High Performance LED Linear Lighting Pendant Mounted System For Green Buildings

MultiModule Family Provides up to 38% Energy Savings Relative to Standard Fluorescent Lighting Fixtures and Ultra-Low Maintenance

Fayetteville, GA – August 6, 2010 – Gallium Lighting introduces a modular LED linear pendant mounted lighting system designed for easy installation in any commercial application.

A MultiModule linear system can provide up to 5,580 lumens, which is approximately equivalent to a 4-lamp 32-watt fluorescent luminaire, while consuming only 78 watts, reducing energy costs by approximately 38%.

The MultiModule linear pendant mounted system also provides substantial maintenance savings. The LED boards have a rated useful life of 50,000 hours, which corresponds to 25 years when operated during normal business hours.

The MultiModule linear pendant mounted fixture is especially suitable for high ceiling applications, such as atriums, sports facilities, shopping malls and supermarkets. It is also ideal for all green buildings, especially offices, universities, government buildings, medical facilities, transportation hubs and data centers.  The linear pendant mounted fixtures are available in 2’ and 4’ versions.  Standard 4’ sections can be configured to form continuous runs.
